Like what you see?

It’s Monday, it’s time for By Royal Appointment this week featuring Back On Your Feet with Sara. I LOVE this set and have it waiting in the wings. You will see more from me on this next week! So enjoy your first sneak peek of it!

Each week I feature one of my wonderful team of Royal Stampers, all Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who love to share their creativity with others. I love seeing what they create and I wanted to share it with you all too, so, each week I will be welcoming a different designer from our amazing team.

This week our guest designer is Sara from Crafty Little Minx! You can see her post and more from her here.

HEADING

As soon as I saw this wonderful set I knew I had to have it. I mean how cute is that Tortoise? The images are perfect for colouring with blends, water colouring with pencils, inks or our marvellous markers. You are completely spoilt for choice. Plus the sentiments pair so well with the images.

For this card I die cut two circles in Whisper White using the layering circles and stamped the image and sentiment in Memento Ink. Once I had coloured the tortoise using some of the Blends and then mounted the circles onto coordinating card stock.

The base is embossed using the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder and I added a strip of designer series paper. This is one of my ‘ go to’ layouts which will work with so many stamp sets and looks great when used with floral stamps.

Simple but effective and so quick to make on those occasions when you are in a hurry. There is also a super sweet Giraffe and a rather adorable doleful looking sloth who I cant wait to use.

I think these are adorable, although I think he’s a turtle? Who knows? He can be whatever you want him to be. When you make one at home, you can choose!
