Use Brightly Lit for some Christmas sparkle on your cards this year. I am going for fresh, new non traditional colours in my cards today. I love how the Soft Sky and the crisp Whisper White play so well together. Add in some faceted gems, metallic edge ribbon and Champagne Foil and you too can get some great Christmas Sparkle!
Brightly Lit by Stampin’ Up!
The lamppost is cut from Soft Sky card stock using the coordinating Christmas Lamppost die set. Isn’t it gorgeous? I love the feel of old England that this set gives me, a very traditional look but using modern colours.
Queen Pip Tip:
Use Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets by sticking the “peel here” side onto a piece of Soft Sky card stock before running through your Big Shot. Use the dies on the coloured card side and you’ll have instant sticky backed die cut elements!
By placing your banner on the side (as if it’s attached to a building) you’ll get a more spacious feel to your card front. Use Champagne Foil with the 3 little dies (they look like flower pots in the die set) to create the “light” behind the lanterns.
For a white on white card I recommend adding some texture or background interest, in this case the Softly Falling Embossing Folder works perfectly as snow!
