Like what you see?

Welcome to the world wide Anything But the Holidays Blog Hop. This amazing blog hop has been organised by the fabulous Janet Wakeland. I’ve been so lucky to spend some time with her this year in April and July! Today we’re sharing some new items from the Autumn / Winter catalogue but with a twist; none of the projects relate to Autumn / Winter! Yep, we’re mixing it up here with some creative sharing about what else you can use these beautiful products for long after the winter has passed!

I love the new Brightly Lit Christmas bundle in the catalogue (page 29) and so decided to see what else I could make with it. Look how different it looks with Fresh Fig, Very Vanilla and Gold as a Mr & Mrs Wedding Card!  I chose the large gold, almost animal print, design from the Bundle of Love Speciality Designer Series Paper pack as my background. I die cut the lamppost in Fresh Fig. Then used the dies to cut out the glass for the lanterns in new Champagne Foil (A/W Catalogue page 37). Using Champagne makes them stand out from the gold. Then I used the Mr & Mrs from the Cheers to the Year stamp set (A/W Catalogue also page 37) for the banner. Stamp & emboss each element (Mr, &, Mrs) separately onto the banner. Using the Stampa-ma-jig makes it easy!

In fact it will work all year round too! I wanted to really show the gold foiling – so I apologise for the creaminess of my photos! The sun was uber bright today!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Anything but the Holidays card! If you’re in the UK and don’t have a demonstrator I’d be delighted to be yours and send you your very own new Autumn / Winter catalogue. Click here and pop in your details to get YOUR copy!!

Thanks Katherine, it’s also great if you use the new adhesive sheets with it. Makes it so much easier to stick down!! Glad you like it!
