Window Shopping Birthday Card a Step by Step Guide

Like what you see?

Good morning, it’s a bit soggy here in southern England today, but at least I didn’t have to scrape ice off the inside of the car windscreen again! Today I am sharing the step by step guide to making the Window Shopping Birthday Card. This was a make & take at my Launch event on Saturday. I love how simple double layering can be to really lift a sentiment only card.

Window Shopping Birthday Card LThe base card is a standard A6 size (Thick Whisper White – just cut at 10.5 with the shortest side of A4 to the top of your trimmer). Then cut a piece of Sending Love Designer Series Paper stack 13.9 x 9.5 cm to leave a really nice wide border. This paper pack has 8 designs in it to choose from!

Next you need to cut normal Whisper White 8 x 8 cm, Real Red 7.5 x 7.5 cm and a piece of Whisper White for stamping on that’s 7 x 7 cm.

Then stamp 3 cupcakes in a line, leaving enough room for one of the Sending Love Embellishments. This heart just lifts the Window Shopping birthday card I think and adds that kraft / wood aspect in contrast to the bright & brash red and white! You have 6 designs to choose from in this embellishment pack too!

Stick down all the paper and card layers with Tombo. Glue the heart in place with your Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Did you like this one? I hope so. I’ll be back with more step by step guides and inspiration again soon.
