Like what you see?

Happy Sunday everyone! Well this is a scheduled post, because I am at this minute probably arriving home from my first Christmas Craft Retreat Weekend of the month! Yes, we’ve been crafting all weekend long, but I can’t share the projects just yet because we’re doing it all again next weekend! So, instead I thought I’d bring you a Merry Medley of Christmas Card Ideas!

Merry Medley Christmas Card Ideas 1The new Merry Medley stamp set is beautiful and I’ve really not done enough with it (that I can show you yet). So I thought I’d give you a step by step guide to making this card.

A Merry Medley of Christmas Card Ideas Instructions:

  1. Whisper White Thick cardstock (European A4 size) cut in half at 14.9 cm (long edge to the top of your trimmer).
  2. Whisper White normal cardstock cut to 14.4 cm x 10 cm
  3. Stamp the Merry Medley background stamp using Cherry Cobbler ink onto the Whisper White mat (I put the stamp facing up on the table, and put the card stock onto the stamp pressing firmly – my ink pad was a little dry, but I like the effect!)
  4. Cut out 2 Pine branches from the Pretty Pines Thinlit Dies using your Big Shot (or die cutting machine) in Emerald Envy and Mint Macacon (medium & small sizes).
  5. Cut out 2 Pine Cones one in Early Espresso and one in Soft Suede (which I sponged a bit to give depth).
  6. Adhere the branches and cones to the front of the card with glue dots.
  7. Add a Cherry Cobbler Taffeta Ribbon bow (the ribbon comes in a two pack!) and Metallic Enamel Shapes (circles) to finish.

Here it is again, this time with Marina Mist and the Emerald Envy ribbon – looks totally different, doesn’t it?
